Friends of the Fruit Bowl is a Utah Non-Profit Organization, founded in 2024 with the primary goal of preserving the Fruit Bowl and running GGBY World Highline Gathering.
GGBY started as an informal gathering in 2008, and was repeated yearly until land managers announced that it had grown to be too big in 2016. Slackline US became the organizing entity in 2017. In 2024, Slackline US identified GGBY as a strong candidate for local advocacy and leadership. As a result, Slackline US is transitioning GGBY from its portfolio into that of a local organization: Friends of the Fruit Bowl.
